He held it up for the man to see.Man smiled & reached out to take the napkin,but Picasso withheld it saying.โYou owe me $100,000″.
Man was astonished.โ$100,000?! Are you serious?? You drew that in 30 seconds!โ
Picasso looked at his sketch,then crumpled up the napkin, gently stuffed it inside his pocket saying you’re wrong my dear,It’s not just 30 seconds.It has taken 40 yrs of practice & determination to produce superior quality sketch in 30 seconds.โI’m charging for the efforts involved during 40 yrs,not for these 30 seconds.
